Son of Delbert's 5th CD, The Sun is Going Downstairs, features 13 new original songs, all written and recorded by Steve Harold Orr. It includes performances by special guests Bill Rainbow (drums), Paul Novick (horns), and Mike Orr (back-up vocals on Sandbox). All other instruments were played by Steve Harold Orr. The Sun is Going Downstairs is an eclectic album. A handful of songs were written for rock trio Rhino Halo of Fairmont Hot Springs, BC. These slightly higher tempo pop-rock songs complement an otherwise reflective, intimate, and sometimes sombre album, which contains elements of classic folk story-telling, blues, and prairie twang.
